Rocky Top Excavation

About Rocky Top Excavation

Excavation teaches you the ground — where the water goes, which slope holds ice, how red clay turns to soup the day after a thaw. Rocky Top Excavation carries that knowledge into winter, when the snow that reaches this valley comes heavy and wet, gone in two days and hazardous the whole time it is here. Machines that spend the year moving dirt push snow off drives, lots and long private roads, back to grade and out of the way instead of piled where it will melt into the wrong place. The steep pulls climbing toward the ridge get treated first, because that is where a car stops being a car. When the last pass is finished the road reads like a road again.
