About Nooga Junk

Sleet on Main Street sounds like sand thrown against the windows, and by morning the brick sidewalks are glass. Nooga Junk turns to snow work when the city ices over — plowing driveways and lots, scraping entrances, shoveling walks and curb cuts by hand, salting the spots where people step down off the pavement. Chattanooga sees few of these days, and that is precisely why they land so hard when they come. Being out early with a blade and a shovel is how a block gets itself back to normal by lunchtime.
