About Groundzero Landcare & Design

The first flake of the year almost always shows up at night, sliding through a streetlight while the rest of the town is asleep. Groundzero Landcare & Design goes to work at that hour — plows out, drives and lots opened, walks and steps shoveled, salt down before the pack sets and turns to ice. Snow in Collegedale is a guest that overstays about twice a winter, and the difference between a bad morning and an ordinary one is whether somebody got out ahead of it. Piles go where they will not block a sightline or melt across pavement and refreeze. Small decisions, made in the dark, that the daylight never has to explain.
