About Chris Lanier Enterprises

North of the city the driveways get long — a quarter mile of gravel bending down through pines between a porch light and the highway out toward Sale Creek. Chris Lanier Enterprises plows those runs when winter finally shows up, clearing the whole length, shoveling the walk to the door, and salting the turn where the grade gets serious. Out here nobody plows for you by accident; if the drive is not opened, the day simply does not start. The work happens before daylight, headlights swinging through fog and frozen weeds, one property at a time. Then the sun comes up on Walden's Ridge and every truck on the road can get out to it.
