About AJ's Royal Lawn Care, LLC

Ice finds Missionary Ridge before it finds anywhere else in Chattanooga; the crooked road along the crest glazes over while the valley below is still only wet. AJ's Royal Lawn Care, LLC takes those January nights — plowing drives, shoveling walks and steps, and treating ice so a steep ridge address is somewhere you can leave from at seven in the morning. Winter here arrives rarely and all at once, and the whole job is judged by how quickly a hill turns back into a road. Headlights, a scraped blade, salt landing on pavement: that is the entire soundtrack until sunrise. Then the sun comes up over the ridge, everything is passable, and nobody has to give it a second thought.
