Pookum's Lawn Care

About Pookum's Lawn Care

Long before there was a town, bison and deer wore trails to the salt lick at Castalian Springs, and the old mineral spring still gives this place its name and its oldest story. Pookum's Lawn Care looks after yards here in two seasons. From late spring into fall that means regular mowing plus trim work along every border, keeping grass in hand as the Sumner County summer pushes it skyward. When an occasional winter storm crosses the Cumberland valley and whitens the fields, the work turns to clearing drives and walks so the morning isn't spent snowbound. In any month, the reward is the small joy of a place set in order.
