DP Earthworx

About DP Earthworx

Up on the ridges east of Carthage, toward Chestnut Mound, the drives run long and steep and the wind finds every one of them. DP Earthworx handles those with snow plowing, drive and lot clearing, hand-shoveled walks, and salting where the grade turns treacherous. Sleet is the real hazard in this part of Tennessee; it comes on at dusk and sets like concrete overnight. Opening a quarter-mile hillside lane before the school bus route wakes up is a small and specific kind of pride. By mid-morning the hollows are still white and the pavement is black and dry, which is exactly the point.
