About Tennessee Stripes Lawn Care

Calhoun sits on the bank of the Hiwassee, where the morning comes up off the water before it ever reaches the streets, and a river-bottom yard grows hard all summer long. Tennessee Stripes Lawn Care cuts them on a rhythm that keeps pace, laying the mow lines straight down the length of the yard and turning them the other direction the next time through. Trimming and edging finish it — along the drive, the walk and the fence — with the clippings blown back off the concrete and into the grass. Beds are mulched, weeded and given a shape, and leaves get cleared once the ridges above town go copper. Anyone can cut grass; the pleasure here is in the lines.
