Sod Source

About Sod Source

Bare ground is honest — it will not hide a low spot or a wheel rut, and out on the new streets toward Arrington there is plenty of it come May. Sod Source works that raw stage and all the years after it: sod installation, mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanups as the season turns. Laying sod is a day's labor with a visible ending — seams pulled tight, corners cut to fit the walk, water on it before the sun gets high. In winter, when snow or ice reaches Brentwood, the same trucks plow drives and open walkways. A yard that began as red clay and ends as one continuous green is worth a sore back.
