About Tommy & Son’s Paving LLC

Pavement tells you the truth about a storm — where the wind drifted it, where the sun will find it by ten, where the ice will hang on past noon. Tommy & Son's Paving LLC reads all that around Blountville every winter, clearing snow from parking lots, driveways and access lanes so a place can open its doors on schedule. The hours run opposite everyone else's: out while the county is dark and still, finished about the time the first headlights show up. Up in these Tennessee highlands a storm can hand you six inches and then a hard freeze on top of it, and the plow goes back out. Clear lot, open door — that is the measure.
