Superior Landscapes

About Superior Landscapes

Winter in this end of Tennessee usually arrives as ice rather than powder — a hard glaze on a driveway that runs uphill, and all at once nobody is going anywhere. Superior Landscapes handles the snow and ice side around Bloomingdale: plowing drives and lots, clearing walks and entries, and salting the grades and shaded corners that stay slick past noon. The whole job happens before the sun does, so that at seven in the morning it looks as though nothing ever happened. Storms come off these ridges with little warning, and being ready for them is most of the work. Bloomingdale, Kingsport, Colonial Heights, Church Hill and Blountville sit inside the storm route.
