About Smith’s Landscaping & Outdoor Solutions

Morning comes early in Bartlett, and so do the mowers — out ahead of the Delta heat that settles over Stage Road by ten o'clock. Smith's Landscaping & Outdoor Solutions works the ridge neighborhoods that roll north toward the Loosahatchie bottoms, where Bermuda grass leans into the long Tennessee summer and fescue holds the shaded north side of the oaks. The work is weekly mowing, string trimming, a clean edge cut along the drive and walk, and every clipping blown off the concrete before the truck pulls away. Come autumn they are back for the leaves the hickories let go all at once, yard after yard from Ellendale out toward Brunswick. It is a plain kind of pride: a straight edge, a stripe that runs true to the mailbox, and a lawn that reads as cared for from the street.
