Master Lawn - Bartlett

About Master Lawn - Bartlett

The oaks along Davies Plantation Road have stood over this corner of Shelby County a long time, and February shows every branch of them. Master Lawn - Bartlett works the whole calendar underneath: mowing, edging, trimming, beds and mulch, leaf cleanups when fall lets go, and plowing, shoveling and salting on the rare mornings ice locks Bartlett down. Winter here is short and mostly gray, which is what makes the first green cut of spring feel like an event. A lawn kept in line all year is the sum of a lot of ordinary visits nobody sees. The route covers Bartlett and reaches Cordova, Lakeland and Memphis.
