About Athens Plow Co Inc

Cold air moves at night here — it slides off the ridges, settles on the low ground around Athens, and by three in the morning the pavement has quietly turned. Athens Plow Co Inc is out in it, plowing drives and lots, clearing walks, spreading salt so the first cars headed for the interstate leave without a slide. Snow visits this part of Tennessee on its own schedule, sometimes as powder and more often as ice, and both get taken seriously. The measure of a good night is a silent phone and a black driveway at sunrise. Athens first, then Niota, Riceville and the McMinn County roads that need it.
