About Cuttin' Edge

By the middle of July the hay is rolled and standing in the fields around Ardmore, and the heat sits on everything until well after supper. Cuttin' Edge works the cooler ends of those days, mowing, trimming and edging yards from the ballfield side of town out along the county roads. Hot-weather grass asks for a sharp blade and a taller cut, and the difference shows in how green a yard holds through August. There is a plain pleasure in leaving a straight line where there wasn't one before. Ardmore, Elkton, Prospect and Minor Hill.
