About Urban Ape Tree Experts

In the Wolftever Creek bottoms the fog holds low until the sun clears the fencerows and lifts it off the pastures one field at a time. That's the hour Urban Ape Tree Experts starts, ropes flaked out on wet grass, a climbing line arcing up into a hackberry that has grown too close to a roofline. Around Apison the woods and the yards keep trading places, so a day can run from careful trimming and pruning on a yard oak to the full removal of a poplar rotted at the base. After a summer squall walks through, they come back for the broken limbs and the split leaders and carry it all off. The pasture edge looks like nobody was ever there, which is the point.
