Andersonville spreads across the ridges near Norris Lake, where long fingers of clear water reach back into the hollows and the shoreline seems to have no end. Eclipse Land Management works that country through both halves of the year, mowing and keeping grounds in shape while things grow, then clearing snow from drives and lanes when winter reaches the hills. Summer brings lake light flashing through the trees and grass that climbs as fast as holiday boat traffic. Winter is quieter — frost along the docks, a dusting on the ridgetops, steep driveways that need opening before anyone can head down to the water. Either way, the goal is a property that looks tended, here in Andersonville.
