About Nirbush Lawn Care

Afton mornings begin under river fog; the Nolichucky lets it go slowly and it lies in the bottomland fields until the sun clears the ridge. Nirbush Lawn Care is already out in it, cutting while the grass is still cool, working Greene County yards set between old barns and the two-lane. A tidy edge along a gravel drive, a clean strip trimmed around a fencepost — small things, but they are what make a place look loved. Autumn comes down off the mountains in a hurry here, and then it is leaves, gathered up and carried off before the rains mat them into the turf. The rounds run through Afton, Chuckey, Mosheim and on into Greeneville.
