About Northern Plains LLC

Winner got its name from a railroad fight a century back, and the wide streets laid out for that rail terminus still give the town a bigger footprint than its population might suggest, room enough for grain trucks and ranch trailers to turn without much trouble even in a snowstorm. Northern Plains LLC works those wide commercial blocks along with the residential streets branching off them, plowing lots wide enough to keep truck traffic moving through the middle of a Tripp County winter. South and west of town the ranch country rolls out into open range where nothing breaks the wind, and a ground blizzard out there can cut visibility to nothing within minutes, so getting a rancher's approach lane clear before that happens is often more urgent than any job in town. Winner still carries its rail-town bones in its layout, and the winter work follows the same wide, practical lines the town was built on.
