About Lipetzky's Irrigation & Landscape

After a prairie storm blows itself out, Wellington can wake to a hard, clear cold, with sundogs flanking the low winter sun and every drift glittering like crushed glass. Lipetzky's Irrigation & Landscape, a company that spends warmer months thinking about water and growing things, turns in winter to water's frozen form and clears it from drives and walks. The work goes quick and deliberate in air that bites, the blade carving long, true lines through the white. Behind each pass, the drive reappears, dark and dry beneath a brilliant sky. It is a satisfying order to bring to a frozen morning: everything sparkling, and a clear path running straight through it.
