About Tailored Lawn Care LLC

On a June evening the wind comes off Lake Kampeska and crosses the west side of Watertown, and a lawn cut that afternoon answers it all in one direction at once. Tailored Lawn Care LLC works toward that kind of finish: the mow lines laid straight down a long lot, the trimmer taken patiently around the mailbox post and the clothesline anchor, the edge along the front walk cut so clean it reads like a pencil line. Feeding and weed control follow the prairie's own calendar here, where the grass wakes in a rush in May and starts asking for water by the middle of July. Spring and fall cleanups bookend the year — winter grit raked out of the boulevard strip in April, boxelder leaves gathered and hauled before the first hard freeze locks the ground. Watertown is a town of wide lots and long sightlines, and a yard kept sharp carries the whole length of the block.
