Althoff Lawn Service

About Althoff Lawn Service

The Big Sioux runs quiet through Watertown, and in June the river fog settles in the low yards until the sun burns it off the grass. Althoff Lawn Service is out in that hour, mower already warm, cutting clean lines while the day is still cool. Mowing, string trimming, sharp edges along walks and drives, and the clippings blown back where they belong — the work is simple and it shows. By the time the neighborhood is stirring, a lawn stands up straight and even, striped and squared at the corners. It is a good feeling to leave a yard looking cared for and drive on to the next one.
