Pro Curb

About Pro Curb

Highway 281 runs past Warner on its way north to Aberdeen, and on a June morning the town's yards lie dew-wet beside it under an enormous pale sky. Pro Curb does lawn care here, mowing, trimming and edging so every lot meets its sidewalk with a line as straight as the section roads outside town. In country this flat, a lawn is on display from a long way off, and one crisp border can make a whole block look composed. The pleasure is in the finish: even stripes, grass clipped back from the curb, the drive blown free of clippings. By noon the dew has burned away and the street looks freshly pressed.
