The Yard Barbers

About The Yard Barbers

Every barber knows the job is really about the edges, and The Yard Barbers carry that thinking out to the lawns of Tea. A cut at one height, a trim in close around posts and foundations, a line run along the concrete so the grass stops where it is told, clippings swept off before anyone sees them — the same care, a much larger chair. Friday afternoon is a fine time for it, with the weekend coming on and the whole street about to be looked at. Seasonal cleanups handle what grows out of sight: leaves in the fall, winter's scatter in the spring. Nobody can quite say why a well-trimmed yard feels good, only that it does.
