About Foxhoven Landscaping

There is a particular October light in Tea, when the sun drops behind the section-line road and every bed of black dirt looks a shade deeper than it did at noon. Foxhoven Landscaping works in that soil — shaping planting beds, setting shrubs and perennials that can take a northwest wind, spreading mulch, cutting a spade edge that holds its shape until the ground freezes. Sod goes down where a yard needs a fresh start, and the grade gets settled so the spring melt runs where it should instead of where it wants. Mowing carries on through all of it, an even cut that makes new plantings look deliberate rather than dropped in. A yard out here has to answer to real weather, and the pleasure of the work is building one that does.
