About Dharma Tree Care and Consulting Arborists

Spearfish Creek comes out of the canyon cold and quick, and the pines above town live on thin soil and hard winters — which means a tree here tells you plainly when something has gone wrong. Dharma Tree Care and Consulting Arborists reads those signs: a thinning crown, dieback at the tips, needles turning the wrong color a season early. The work is tree health first, with pruning done for a stated reason and care aimed at the whole tree rather than the branch in front of you, and removal held back for the ones that have genuinely reached the end. In a valley where a big ponderosa can be older than the road running past it, that patience is worth something. From Spearfish out along the canyon and up onto the benches, that is the approach.
