About Black Hills Outdoor Care

Spearfish is a town that knows what a chinook can do — the wind comes down off the hills in January and a frozen morning is running water by noon. Black Hills Outdoor Care plans around that whiplash, reading the ground before it commits, because turf that thaws and refreezes remembers every tire track. Their season really opens once the last meltwater sinks in and the first green shows along south-facing foundations. From there it is mowing at a height that suits the month, edging that keeps drives and walks honest, and cleanups that clear the winter's litter off the crown of the grass. The reward is a lawn that comes back thick instead of bruised.
