Black Hills Lawn Care

About Black Hills Lawn Care

Late spring mornings in Higgins Gulch arrive under a lid of fog that burns off from the top down, uncovering the pines a hundred feet at a time. That is the hour Black Hills Lawn Care likes best — grass still heavy with wet, the ground soft enough to take a wheel gently, the day's heat not yet on. Mowing here means knowing which lawns drain and which hold, because a gulch yard and a bench-top yard are two different animals in May. Their crew trims fencelines and edges walks so the boundary between concrete and green is a drawn line rather than a guess. Come autumn, the same attention goes into raking out whatever the wind puts down.
