About WinterGreen Services

The greenway follows the Big Sioux the whole way around town, and by November the trail runs between two brown banks while the lawns behind them still hold a stubborn green. WinterGreen Services is out for the last cuts then, dropping the height, clearing the leaves, getting turf tucked in before the ground goes hard. The rest of the year runs on an ordinary rhythm — mow, trim, edge, come back in a week and do it again while the grass is still deciding to grow. Fertilizing in the right window is what makes a Sioux Falls lawn wake up in April instead of waiting around for May. None of it is complicated; it is just done on time, in a climate with no patience for late.
