About Nelson Bros LLC
Nelson Bros runs on a simple split: one brother takes the east side, one takes the west, and they meet somewhere near downtown by midmorning to compare notes on whichever half of Sioux Falls got hit harder. The city's odd enough in its weather that a storm can dump several inches on Renner and barely dust Harrisburg twenty minutes south, so the two routes rarely look the same from one storm to the next. Both brothers grew up on a farm outside town before the business went residential, and that early habit of watching the sky for what it's about to do hasn't left either of them — they're usually moving before the forecast updates. Whichever brother finishes first ends up helping the other close out a stubborn block of driveways somewhere in the middle, an arrangement that's kept the business running without much need to bring in outside help. By early afternoon the two routes usually meet in the same clean, familiar middle of the city they grew up on the edge of.
