About Dakota Turf, LLC

Before Sioux Falls had streets, this ground grew tallgrass prairie whose roots ran deeper than a person is tall, and a lawn here still wants to grow from the bottom up. Dakota Turf, LLC tends lawns in that spirit, treating turf as something rooted rather than something merely cut. September is when the work feels most hopeful: the nights cool off, dew lingers on the blades until mid-morning, and the heat of August finally lets go. Steady mowing and attentive care through those weeks send the grass toward winter thick and sound. A lawn that goes into the cold strong is the one that wakes up green.
