About Classic Lawn

The bike trail that follows the Big Sioux in its long loop around Sioux Falls fills early on summer Saturdays, and from the path you can read the city by its yards. Classic Lawn looks after lawns here with an old-fashioned idea of what finished means: even rows, crisp borders, nothing left ragged. The mower makes its passes in straight, unhurried lines, the trimmer follows fences and foundations, and the edge along the sidewalk comes out sharp enough to set a level against. Nothing flashy, just the timeless look the name points to. A rider rolling by on the greenway at seven o'clock sees only a yard that looks cared for, which is exactly the point.
