About Rex's Lawn Services

In this corner of Minnehaha County the pink Sioux quartzite shows through the ground here and there, and on an October afternoon around Rowena it seems to glow against the browning fields. This is the season of the last mow: leaves coming down yellow, the grass slowing, the air sharp enough by evening to see your breath. Rex's Lawn Services provides lawn care in Rowena, giving yards a final close cut and a tidy trim before winter closes the book. A lawn put to bed short and even is a pleasant thing to find again when the snow pulls back in spring. There is a calm pride in that late-season work, the year's mowing finished and the yard ready for the first flakes.
