Warne Green Force

About Warne Green Force

On the first frost mornings the north-side yards below M Hill come up silver, and by nine the sun has burned it clean off and the grass is green all over again. Warne Green Force works that stretch of Rapid City on a steady rotation — mowing, trimming, edging and clearing walks, week after week from the first flush of spring growth to the last cut of October. Fertilization is timed to the turf's real appetite, weed control goes down before problems get established, and aeration with overseeding thickens whatever thin spots the summer opened up. Cleanups bookend the year, hauling off winter's debris in April and the leaf fall in November. Green is a force, but it still takes a hand to keep it pointed the right direction.
