About Stranded Outdoors Property Services, LLC

Sioux Park's ballfields go quiet and white for the winter, backstops standing bare against the snow, and Stranded Outdoors works the residential blocks around the park in the last low light of a short December afternoon. Rapid City's daylight in midwinter runs out fast, and a crew that plows after work hours learns to finish a driveway by headlight and feel as much as sight, checking the edge of the blade against the curb by touch when the light is gone. Driveways get cleared to pavement, walkways get shoveled by hand, and salt goes down on the steps and porches that ice over first once the temperature drops after sunset. Snow that has nowhere left to go on a tight city lot gets hauled away instead of stacked against the garage. Property work through the rest of the year, from mowing to hauling, carries the crew straight into plow season without much of a gap. The route covers the neighborhoods around Sioux Park and the rest of central Rapid City.
