Scott's Lawn & Snow

About Scott's Lawn & Snow

A chinook can come over the Black Hills in February and take twenty inches of Rapid City snow down to slush inside a day. Scott's Lawn & Snow works both sides of that swing — plowing and shoveling drives and walkways clear while the storms stack up, then reading the melt so nobody is left with a rink where the driveway meets the street. By May the same trucks are pulling mowers, and the week runs on cutting, trimming, edging and a clean sweep of every hard surface. Feedings, weed control and autumn leaf removal fill the months in between. It is a town of extremes, and the work is simply keeping a property level with whatever the sky decides.
