About Guardian Landscaping

June rain in the Black Hills does not soak in so much as run, and Rapid City has a long memory about where water goes — the greenway through the middle of town is ground the creek was given back. Guardian Landscaping works with that in mind: mowing, trimming and edging through the season, plus bed care, mulch, grading touch-ups and clearing that keep soil and stone where they were put. A lawn that drains is a lawn that lives, and a bed that holds its edge after a downpour saves the look of the whole yard. Turf here has to take hail in June, heat in August and wind all year, so the aim is a yard that can absorb a bad week. When the dry stretch comes, it is still standing green.
