About Black Hills Landscapes

Up on Skyline Drive, the green concrete dinosaurs built in the 1930s still look out over Rapid City, and on a September afternoon the whole town below them glows gold and green in the slanting light. Black Hills Landscapes does lawn care in Rapid City, and early fall is when that care shows: grass recovering from August, cool nights thickening the turf, edges ready to be sharpened one more time. A neat autumn lawn is the frame for everything that follows, the first yellow leaves on the boulevards and the first dusting of white up in the high Hills. There is pride in sending a yard into fall trimmed and even rather than tired and shaggy. Seen from the ridge, Rapid City is a quilt of small green squares, and each one cared for adds its own stitch.
