About Josh's mowing services

The Turner County Courthouse sits at the middle of Parker, a town platted along the rail line in 1879, and the streets running off that square are the first ones cleared after an overnight snow. West of town, the quiet west branch of the Vermillion River cuts through frozen cottonwood bottoms, and the cropland beyond runs flat and open enough that a north wind can push a drift halfway across a driveway before sunrise. Josh's mowing services works those drifts off Parker's short blocks and rural approaches before the courthouse offices open, one pass at a time. Getting a driveway down to bare concrete while the streetlights are still on feels like winning a small, private race against the rest of the county seat waking up. A walk here, an approach there — Parker is small enough that the work never has to be bigger than the town asking for it.
