West River Lawn & Snow

About West River Lawn & Snow

West of the Missouri the sky does most of the talking, and here in Lawrence County it comes down to a handful of green yards set against a lot of open country and dark pine. West River Lawn & Snow keeps those yards in North Lawrence — mowing on a weekly turn, trimming along fences and outbuildings, clearing off whatever the cottonwoods drop toward the Belle Fourche. Late September is the good stretch: cool mornings, grass still climbing, the light coming in low and long across the grade. A lawn mowed in clean parallel passes with the edges cut in reads like an answer to all that wide, rough ground around it. That contrast is the point, and it is worth doing right.
