Jason Hohn's Lawn Care

About Jason Hohn's Lawn Care

There is a Saturday sound in Mitchell in June — mowers going a block apart, and the smell of cut grass drifting over the fences toward Hitchcock Park. Jason Hohn's Lawn Care is part of that sound most weeks of the summer: mowing at a height that suits the weather, trimming around the trees and the AC unit and the coiled garden hose, edges run straight along the drive. Small details do the heavy lifting — grass blown off the sidewalk, clippings kept out of the street, the gate latched on the way out. Cleanups in spring and fall take the yard out of winter and then hand it back again. It is a good feeling to finish a street and look back down the length of it.
