About C & B Operations

Highway 14 cuts straight through Miller on its long run across South Dakota, and in July the evenings along it stay bright until well past nine. C & B Operations spends those long days on lawn care around town, mowing and trimming so Miller's yards keep their shape as the heat builds. In the dry stretches of a Dakota midsummer a lawn asks for a steady hand: the cut set at the right height, the edges kept clean, nothing scalped or ragged. Few moments beat finishing a yard just as the grain elevators turn gold in the slanting western sun. That is the look of a place minding its own corners.
