About Timber Tree Service LLC

Before the sun clears the frozen fields of northern Spink County, the overnight snow has already drawn new shapes across Mellette's driveways. Timber Tree Service LLC, whose name points to trees, clears snow around town, pushing those drifts aside so a pickup can back out and a front step is safe underfoot. On country this flat there is nothing to slow a drift but a house or a windbreak, so every cleared drive is earned one pass at a time. Highway 281 runs north and south past town, and a good clearing puts a Mellette household back on it with the windshield catching the first pink light. It is plain, physical work, and its result is clear: the coldest mornings feel a little lighter.
