Cutting Edge Lawn & Snow

About Cutting Edge Lawn & Snow

Winter light along the bluffs west of Mapleton comes in low and sideways some mornings, catching the edge of a plow blade at an angle that turns a plain pass into something almost bright. This crew works for that clean line, where packed snow meets bare gravel, sharp enough to run a hand along. Fence rows still hold their shape under a fresh cover, and the goal each pass is a yard that looks tended rather than just cleared. Mornings here move fast: one driveway finished while frost is still burning off the windshield, another before the school bus makes its turn. It's small, exacting work, repeated house by house down the gravel roads.
