About Prairie Homes Landscaping

A July thunderhead can build over La Prairie in a single afternoon, towering white and bruise-purple, dropping its rain and rolling on, leaving every lawn in town drinking and growing at once. Prairie Homes Landscaping keeps pace with that green rush, mowing, trimming and tidying so a yard frames the house instead of swallowing it. The company's name says what matters most: a home on the prairie, standing in its own neat square of grass beneath an enormous sky. After a storm the air smells of wet earth and cut stems, and a freshly finished lawn glints as if it had been polished. That is the result worth working toward, week after summer week.
