Lehmen's Tree Service & Stump Removal

About Lehmen's Tree Service & Stump Removal

Out past the fairgrounds where the World's Largest Pheasant stands watch over an empty midway most of the year, the ground freezes hard enough by December that even stump work waits until spring. Lehmen's Tree Service & Stump Removal spends that frozen stretch on driveways and walkways instead, working properties near the fairground and the neighborhoods built up around it once the fair traffic dies down for the season. It's a different rhythm than the summer work — no chainsaws, no grinders, just steady passes with a blade and a shovel through whatever the sky drops overnight. Come the fair's return in late summer, the same crew will be back to the stumps; for now, the job is keeping a walkway to the door open through a Huron winter.
