Dietz Lawn Care

About Dietz Lawn Care

Huron sits where the James River quits hurrying, looping slow and brown through town under the Third Street bridge. Dietz Lawn Care keeps the grass along those bends — river-bottom yards that come on fast and thick after a warm rain, and blocks up the rise where the ground dries harder and wants a different cut. Mowing here is a matter of timing: catch it before the seed heads go up and the whole yard holds an even color for another week. Trimming closes the deal, a clean line along the foundation, the mailbox, the alley fence, with the clippings blown back onto the lawn instead of down the gutter. On a still June evening the smell of cut grass hangs over the street until dark.
