Herreid Concrete

About Herreid Concrete

Herreid lies a short drive below the North Dakota line, close enough that January wind arrives with nothing in its way but wheat stubble and section roads. This corner of Campbell County was settled largely by German-Russian families who met hard winters with steady hands and an early start, and that spirit still sets the pace on these streets. Herreid Concrete is a concrete business at heart, so it knows exactly what lies under a drift: the slabs, drives and aprons that deserve to be uncovered whole. When snow curls across an approach overnight, the plow goes to work and leaves square-edged pavement showing again, ready for the first pickup of the day. Up here, a scraped-clean drive is a small promise kept to the whole prairie morning.
