About L L & Sons Excavating Inc

Hazel is a small town on the broad prairie, and on a winter afternoon you can watch a storm come for it from a long way off: a gray wall rising in the west, the light going flat, the first flakes ticking at the windows. L L & Sons Excavating Inc does snow removal here, ready to dig the town back out after the storm has gone through. Where neighbors are few and roads are long, a cleared drive or lot is the difference between a snowed-in day and an ordinary one. The work leaves broad openings with the snow heaped far aside, so the next storm has somewhere to land. Next morning, under a sky scrubbed to blue, Hazel looks like itself again.
