Green Acres Lawn & Snow

About Green Acres Lawn & Snow

Harrisburg has grown fast enough that half its cul-de-sacs didn't exist a decade ago, new streets curling off the old section-line roads south of Sioux Falls toward the Big Sioux. Green Acres Lawn & Snow works those newer loops in winter the way it works the lawns in summer — knowing which driveways slope toward the garage and which ones ice first once the sun drops behind the row of young trees still staked along the curb. A town growing this quickly means a route that changes every season, a new address added to the list before the last snow is even off the ground. The crew treats each fresh block the same as the older ones: cleared early, cleared evenly, gone before the school buses start their run.
